Maintenance of Air Compressor:

The first is the timely discharge of condensate. After shutdown, open the drain valve under the gas storage tank and release the condensate water; the lubricating oil should be replaced regularly. Generally, according to the running time of the air compressor, new oil is replaced every 1000 hours or 4 months, and the filter element of the air filter is cleaned regularly. Because the filters are dirty, the air entering the compressed cylinder will contain too much floating dust, which will accelerate the wear of the cylinder and piston ring, and it is easy to form carbon deposit to affect the sealing of the exhaust valve. Serious occasions will also lead to cylinder pulling, gas channeling, resulting in pollution of lubricating oil, affecting the lubrication effect. At the same time, gas channeling will also produce oil phenomenon. The clearance between cylinder wall and piston ring is too large, and the contaminated lubricant will enter the compression chamber and form oil mist, thus polluting the compressed air. Air filters should be cleaned every 50 hours and replaced in time when the cleaning is not effective (paper filters should be cleaned by compressed air from inside to outside; if the filter is filled with sponge, air drying should be cleaned by detergent.

Use and Maintenance of Cylinders:

The cylinder function is to convert the pressure energy of compressed air into mechanical energy. In normal work, the cylinder should be in place quickly with the on-off switch of solenoid valve power supply. Because of the repeated motion of cylinder piston, the lubrication of cylinder wall and piston is very important. Generally through the oil atomizer, the lubricating oil is injected into the air flow after atomization, and with the air into the lubricating part to achieve the purpose of lubrication. During the working process, the cylinder close to the oil mist has good lubrication effect, while the cylinder far away has poor lubrication effect. This situation is particularly evident in the cylinder of the aggregate bin. The solution is to add an oil mist in the middle of the air path of the aggregate bin. A layer of butter can be applied to the piston rod to prevent rust. Gas leakage is a common fault in cylinders. There are two kinds of air leakage: internal leakage and external leakage. Internal leakage refers to the serious wear and tear of piston components in the cylinder, which causes the piston to air in front and back, affects the speed of cylinder operation, and causes the switch to be out of place when it is serious. Leakage refers to the serious wear and leakage of the end seals of the piston rod in contact with the cylinder, resulting in the slow recovery of the piston rod, or even inadequate recovery.

Use and Maintenance of Solenoid Valve:

The function of solenoid valve is to adjust the pressure, flow rate and flow direction of compressed air. It can be used to form various air paths, so that the pneumatic actuator can work normally according to the designed program. The common fault of solenoid valve is air leakage. The performance of the solenoid valve in the absence of work (air pressure within the standard range, the two exhaust ports on the side of the intake have leakage phenomenon. The repair method is to disintegrate the solenoid valve, clean the parts with clean diesel oil, dry them with clean cotton yarn and coat them with a small amount of oil. If the piston rod in the valve is seriously worn or the sealing ring is damaged, replace the new parts.

Pay attention to the function of oil-water separator and oil mist:

The compressed air which is preliminarily purified from the gas source device usually needs to pass through the pneumatic auxiliary components (oil-water separator, pressure regulating valve, oil mist) before entering the pneumatic equipment. The function of oil-water separator is to filter moisture and particulate dust in compressed air. Therefore, the sewage in the water cup should be discharged in time through the manual exhaust valve. Oil mist is a special oil injection device. Its function is to inject lubricating oil into the air stream after atomization, and then enter the parts requiring lubrication with the air. General diesel engine oil is used as lubricant in oil mist. The oil in the oil storage cup should be replaced on time. The capacity of the oil storage cup should be calculated at 100ml. It is suitable to use for 100h. The function of pressure regulating valve is to make its output pressure consistent with the actual pressure of each pneumatic equipment and device, and to maintain the stability of the pressure value.
